Curses for man

Genesis 3; Genesis 4; Genesis 5; Luke 2

Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." 23 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side [e] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Knowing good and evil is not a benefit for us. From the beginning of mankind we have been cursed and banished from eating from the tree of life.

We must remember to have faith, to trust in the commandments of God. When we question it, when we go against it, that is when we are cursed. We have been cursed from the beginning of mankind, and no longer have the benefits that Adam and Eve had.

Lord,
I know that I live with many curses, curses that has been in my family from generation to generation. I will no longer question your commandments. I will follow them. I pray that through me, these curses will not continue for generations to come. Lord, thank you for not holding Adam's and Eve's curiosity against us and for giving us the option to end generational curses. I love You.

Amen
